Have you ever felt that anxiety or past failures are always holding you back? You are not alone! Before becoming an artist, Chan Wai Lap was once a high school student who repeatedly faced setbacks and lost direction. Now, he hopes to help you let go of those burdens. Welcome to join the closing event of CHAT Six Factory’s summer exhibition “Weave Time, Shout Loud!” and together, use creativity to rediscover the courage to move forward.

Upon arrival, you may quietly write down one thing that worries, unsettles, or troubles you on paper, then anonymously hand it to Chan Wai Lap. In exchange, he will give you a personally handwritten encouraging message. With this message, you may receive a pair of scissors to personally trim the “hair” on the large-scale installation work “Head to Head,” reshaping the artwork according to your own will and releasing yourself and long-suppressed emotions in the process.

Come transform your emotional knots and vulnerabilities into art, and bravely embark on the next chapter of your life with a fresh perspective!
